Making textbook content inclusive: A Focus on Religion, Gender, and Culture (UNESCO, 2017)

This tool was developed by UNESCO and the Georg Eckert Institute (GEI) with the assistance of an international group of specialists in inclusive education. It provides a detailed list of guidelines and criteria to be used by curriculum developers, teachers, and education practitioners. The main purpose is to ensure quality learning material free from prejudices and harmful stereotypes in line with principles of global citizenship education and values related to the dimension of learning to leave together.
