Youth and transferable skills: an evidence gap map. 3ie Evidence Gap Map Report 2 (International Initiative for Impact Evaluation, 2015)

3ie evidence gap maps are thematic collections of information about impact evaluations or systematic reviews that measure the effects of international development policies and programmes. They present a visual overview of existing and ongoing studies in a sector or sub-sector in terms of the types of programmes (or interventions) evaluated and the outcomes measured. This evidence gap map catalogues the impact evaluations of transferable skills interventions in low-and middle-income counties and provides analysis of the evidence base. The evidence gap map is also a primary input into a scoping paper titled “The state of evidence on the impact of transferable skills programming on youth in low- and middle-income countries”, which explores what the existing evidence finds and discusses priorities for future investments in evaluation and synthesis.
